We want to keep Connor's spirit alive and one of the ways for us was to create the Foundation to provide assistance to student athletes.  There are two separate forms of assistance through the Foundation and also a scholarship fund has been set up through Saratoga Youth Hockey.

The first avenue is to support local student athletes who are competing on the national level and need financial support to be able to compete at  a specific national race or meet.  This sponsorship is open YEAR ROUND and all you have to do is write a letter to the Board and ask!! (Follow the application details listed below for the Senior Scholarship). This is for anyone participating in any sport!  Also, if you are a youth organization that promotes youth athletics, please write us and tell us how we can help.

The second avenue is for SENIORS of Saratoga Springs High School. Two different scholarships are available to you!! One through our Foundation and one through Saratoga Youth Hockey. See below for the details of both programs. I know, Connor would be smirking to know he had scholarships at the high school in his name, but we are awarding on athletics, which he would approve! :)

2012 Scholarship is now CLOSED.

2013 SSHS Seniors Scholarships available!
This will be an annual scholarship awarded to at least one graduating senior.

Application is open March 1, 2013 to April 22, 2013.
Awarded at Academic Banquet.

Open to any senior who has competed while in high school and will continue to do so after graduation.
You do not need to be enrolled in college, but must be going on to compete at the national level.

Applications are with Mr. Pete Sheehan the SSHS Athletic Director as well as the Guidance office.

Or, if you would like to apply directly to us:

Write Andrea and myself a letter and answer this question:
"What competition means to me and how has it helped me in life?"
Please also include details of your athletic history, and what your future plans and goals are. You must have plans to continue participating in your sport after graduation at the national lever or higher. Include address, phone #, email and picture.

The purpose of this sponsorship is to help out with costs associated with competing. We are looking for those kids in need and are ambassadors of their sport.
